All requests for cancellation or refund must be submitted within fourteen (14) days of purchase or kit activation (whichever occurs first) and must be accompanied by a completed Cancellation/Refund Request Form.
Once received, the Cancellation/Refund Request form may take up to 10 business days to process. If approved, refunds (net of any shipping, handling or administrative fees) will be issued only to the original method of payment for purchases made directly from SecuriGene. Once submitted, Cancellation/Refund Request forms are irrevocable.
Cancellations and refunds will not be granted if:
- the request is received more than fourteen (14) days after the purchase date;
- the order has been activated;
- one or more samples have been received at the laboratory;
- testing has been initiated; or
- the test was purchased through a retailer, distributor, or other third party.
Once testing has begun or one or more samples are received at the laboratory, orders are non-cancellable and non-refundable. SecuriGene reserves the right to deduct shipping, handling, and administrative fees from any refund issued.
If the order is cancelled before the test kit has been shipped, the total amount will be refunded less an administration fee of $35. Once the test kit has been shipped, a 50% refund (less any shipping fees) will be issued provided that you return the unopened test kit to the laboratory. The unused test kit and Cancellation/Refund Request Form must be returned at your own shipping expense. If you return the unused test kit using the prepaid mailer inside the kit, the return shipping cost will be deducted from your total refund amount.
