Our laboratory receives many samples in one day. First, they are delivered to the sorting facility, where they are sorted and sent to the appropriate department. Then, the sample must be physically opened and logged into the system. This can take time, upwards of 1 business day.
Please note that once a package has been given to an agent for final delivery, we expect to receive the samples at our laboratory within 1 to 2 business days. Please note that testing will begin as soon as your samples are received at our laboratory and results are usually completed within 1 to 2 business days of receiving your samples at our laboratory. Please be aware that our receiving department is CLOSED on weekends and holidays.
If you encounter this situation, do not panic. We recommend you wait 1 business day to receive your "sample received" notification, as this delay is normal due to the high volume of samples that we receive on a daily basis.
When calculating the estimated processing time for your test order, please note that weekends and holidays are not considered business days.
