We cannot guarantee the successful outcome of any test until samples are inspected and analyzed by our laboratory.
If your swabs have fallen on the floor or come into contact with another surface, there is a risk of contamination that could affect sample quality. If you would like to be cautious, you may order a replacement swab kit for $15 plus shipping and resubmit your samples, provided you have not yet sent them in.
If the laboratory detects any issues with the samples you have submitted (ie. not enough DNA on the swabs, contamination, excess degradation, etc.) the results report will not be released. Instead, you will receive an email notification requesting a sample recollection.
